Ash Wednesday – begin Lent by attending a service at one of the churches in our trail to receive the imposition of the ‘ashes’.

Friday 12th February

BE STILL Opening Event at Manchester Cathedral 6-8.30pm

Thursday 25th February

Thursday Late with Passion Art at Manchester Art Gallery 5-8.30pm an evening of live music around the gallery with Epiphany responding to the trail art works and performing Sound Portraits in the glass atrium from 5pm. At 6pm they will also perform  live music to accompany the Mindful Marks session run by artist Naomi Kendrick. A curators tour of the Be Still art works in the gallery  will begin at 7pm in the foyer

Take notice at Manchester Art Gallery – looking at ‘Interior’ by Gwen John

Tuesday 8th March

Mindful Marks at Manchester Art Gallery 12-2pm using works from PassionArt: BE STILL

Thursday 17th March

Take Notice and Thursday Late at Manchester Art Gallery. Highlighting works from PassionArt BE STILL

Sunday 20th March

Palm Sunday – services will take place at each of the churches in the art trail. 

Thursday 24th March 

Maundy Thursday an evening service to include the washing of feet based on the Bible story of The Last Supper will be held at St Ann’s Church.  

Friday 25th March

Good Friday – Solemn services remembering the death of Christ at Calvary take place at each of the churches in the trail. Traditionally a day of prayer and fasting.

Sunday 27th March

Easter Sunday  – Services of celebration remembering the resurrection of Christ take place at each of the churches in the trail.
